I (Anna) have always had cats or at least for as long as I can
remember. Until 1990 they were "ordinary" mixed breed
cats. In 1990 was when I purchased my first pure breed Persian.
He was of pet quality but since then I'm totally hooked on the breed.
My love of their super temperament and my own interest in grooming
makes them the ultimate breed for me.

Later on I developed an interest in shows and then naturally an
interest in breeding. Since 2001 the cattery name S*Notaquita is
registered with the Swedish cat organisation SVERAK
belonging to the world wide organisation, Fédération
Internationale Féline, FIFe.
This is the leading organisation in Sweden so that choice came natural
to me.
I am fairly new as a breeder and I'm still learning. I don't think
you'll ever be fully learned when it comes to live animals and the
keeping and breeding of them. We could never have done this journey
so far without a lot of help from our friends.
You know who you are and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

We're located to the beautiful town of Uddevalla on the west coast
of Sweden. It's a super nice town by the Northsea that has enjoyed
"city privileges" since the 15-hundreds. I (Anna) live
with my cats mostly roaming free in my home. But of course, as anyone
living with fertile male cats knows, the guys have to have their
own places/kingdoms.
In this household we "live and breathe" cat and are very
particular of were we're placing our precious kittens. We will in
many cases, if we don't know you, ask for references before placing
a S*Notaquita kitten.

A kitten from us is surly socialised and used to handling of all
sorts and of course comes with a health certificate issued by a
licensed veterinarian. If you have interests in a cat from our breeding
don't hesitate to contact
us. We'll be glad to answer your questions.
The cattery name Notaquita was taken from a racehorse in an English
TV-show (some time about the 1980's). It's a word game; the meaning
is "Not-a-Quitter". Someone who never "quits".
I have a background as a Big Time Horse fancier and horse owner,
this name just felt right. During the fallbacks and struggles in
the cat fancy the name has proven to really fit my cattery!
Regards
The S*Notaquita Family
